Competition Team

Our philosophy towards competition revolves around a simple concept: the thrill of performance. Our competition team provides dancers with the opportunity to perform several times throughout the year at regional and national dance competitions. We try to instill in our competition team dancers that the fun and thrill of performing is more important than the award itself. We want them to dance, dance, dance . . . and enjoy every minute of it.

Being on the competition team at All That & Jazz! requires dedication and sportsmanship.

Competition team members have rehearsal and class requirements. Dancers learn routines beginning in the summer and work through the fall perfecting their dances in preparation for the competition season. Auditions are held annually in the spring.

Our competition team provides students with opportunities to showcase their achievements. Dance competitions help to motivate dancers to strive to reach their full potential and reward them for their hard work. Members can expect their confidence, work ethic, and dance technique to grow over the course of our season.
